The Assistant Athletics Communications Director provides assistance with planning and implementing communications strategies as they relate to the goals and objectives of UTSA’s 17-sport NCAA Division I athletics program. This role serves as primary contact for assigned sports. Responsible for assigned sports’ publicity, information and historical archives. Core Responsibilities Knows, understands and complies with policies of the NCAA, American Conference and University of Texas at San Antonio. Writes effectively with working knowledge of AP Style. Prepares press releases, game notes and feature articles, and ensure content for assigned sports
