Salary Details:
Graduate assistant will receive:
•An annual stipend (A 12-month contract renewable for two years)
•Housing waiver good for rent in a fully-furnished apartment complex that is within walking distance of campus.
•In-state maintenance tuition waiver and out-of-state tuition waiver (Does not include books and fees)
Intern will receive:

East Tennessee State University seeks a qualified applicant for either a graduate assistant position or internship in the area of Athletic Communications. This individual will assist the media relations staff with game-day operations for football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball, and will serve as the primary contact these sports: women’s volleyball OR men’s and women’s soccer, women’s basketball and softball.
Production of ETSU Athletics publications, development of game-day publications, helping to maintain the department’s website (www.ETSUBucs.com), assisting with various social media accounts, as well as other departmental duties will be assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications. Applicants should possess strong writing, editing and graphic design skills, as well as a good understanding of Statcrew Software and NCAA Genius Live Stats (experience with football, basketball, baseball, soccer and volleyball preferred), Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop. Previous experience working in a college sports information office preferred.
The Buccaneers compete at the NCAA Division I level and are members of the Southern Conference. ETSU sponsors 18 varsity sports (football, baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, men’s tennis, women’s tennis, men’s golf, women’s golf, indoor (women) and outdoor track and field (men and women), cross country (men and women), softball, volleyball and women’s triathlon.
