Belhaven University, a Christ-centered university located in Jackson, Mississippi, is receiving applications for the role of Graduate Assistant, Athletics Communications.
Belhaven is an NCAA Division III institution sponsoring seventeen sports programs and holding conference membership in the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) and the USA South Conference (USAS). Belhaven University is also an active member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU).
The successful candidate will work under the leadership of the Director of Athletics Communications to carry out Athletics communication responsibilities related to statistics, website management, website story development, social media, and photography, among other tasks. Requirements include a collegiate background in Athletics, communications, or a related field, as well as a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution.
The candidate must fully support the vision and mission of the University as well as subscribe to its Statement of Faith (http://www.belhaven.edu/belhaven/mission.htm).
Prior experience working in a Sports Information Department is a plus, as well as experience with NCAA LiveStats, Adobe Creative Suite, or live broadcast production.

Bachelor's Degree from accredited four-year institution
Experience in athletics, communications, media production or related field preferred
Experience in Athletics Communications, NCAA LiveStats, Adobe Creative Suite or producing live broadcasts is a plus
