BACKGROUNDThe BIG EAST Conference seeks qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Commissioner, Women’s Basketball Communications. Based in New York City, this position is primarily responsible for planning and implementing the Conference’s media and public relations activities relating to Women’s Basketball. Additional duties include handling select Olympic sports communications and, as well as providing communications support for various Conference events and related initiatives.This position is hybrid with candidates expected to be in NYC office 2-3 days per week. Travel to games, events, and conference meetings is also required.POSITION SUMMARY•Serve as the primary media relations contact for BIG EAST Women’s Basketball and select Olympic sport
