The University of the Cumberlands located in Williamsburg, Ky., is currently seeking an individual for the position of Graduate Assistant. Cumberlands, a member of the Mid-South Conference and the NAIA, sponsors 31 sports and has 800 student-athletes participating in the various programs. The graduate assistant will assist the Sports Information Department with coverage of 28 NAIA varsity sports.  This individual will be responsible for social media graphics, video production, and covering assigned sporting events.  In addition, the candidate will assist in production of game day program and social media content, and working live events including directing broadcast and running camera, in addition to assisting in photo archives and working special events such as conference championships. Under the direction of the full-time staff, this position requires skills ranging from using Adobe Creative Suite, digital photography and videography with attention to detail, quality and accuracy.  The graduate assistant will be required to work many of the hours associate with the sports information profession, including nights and weekends. Additionally, the GA will serve as the main contact and secondary contact for specific sports as assigned by the Sports Information Director.

Preferred qualifications for this position include, prior experience in a Sports Information Department, knowledge of video streaming and set-up and Adobe Suit (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is perferred.
