The Atlantic 10 Conference is accepting applications for an Advanced Media/Communications Intern. Individuals should be familiar with digital, website, social media, statistical and data analysis.

Duties

• Serve as the primary media contact and championship media director for multiple Olympic sports to be
• Produce content for assigned sports via Atlantic10.com, social media, Twitter, and Facebook
• Provide A-10 membership, NCAA and media with updated information for select
• Provide support for communications staff in preparation of and during assigned championship events, including but not limited to men’s and women’s
• Assist in editing of communications materials and
• Assist in the writing and editing of conference publications, including media guides, championship programs and graphic promotional
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in journalism, advanced media communications, public relations or a related
• Excellent writing/editing abilities and knowledge of AP style
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills with an emphasis on attention to detail, work ethic, honesty, and loyalty
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
• Self-motivated, creative and digitally savvy
• Volunteer and/or paid experience in sports media technology and social media platforms
• Experience with creating and editing social media and video content preferred

This is a paid monthly stipend. Candidates must secure their own housing. Additional experience in NCAA Governance and Compliance will be integrated.
