The Rockhurst University Athletics Department is currently seeking a Graduate Assistant for the 2022-23 academic year. The Graduate Assistant for Athletics Communications is responsible for assisting the sports information director in publicizing and promoting Rockhurst’s 15-sport intercollegiate athletics program. Benefits include tuition for nine credits per semester, in addition to housing on campus and a cafeteria meal plan. Start date is mid-August, 2022. The Graduate Assistant will report to the Sports Information Director

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing Athletics social media platforms
• Assist with content management, marketing, engagement, and game day management
• Assist in statistics and public address announcing for all sports, as well as handling other duties as assigned.
• Assist with the supervision of all Live Streaming home events, production of graphics and post-game stories, and arranging team and individual photographs for all sponsored sports.
• Maintain a representative level of performance in the conference that satisfies departmental goals and objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in any field required.
• 3-6 months of related experience required
• Knowledge of multiple software programs
• Strong written and verbal skills
