Wofford College is accepting applications for an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications. The selected candidate will serve as the primary media contact for at least four sports, including men’s basketball. They will maintain sport statistics, update school website, write and edit press releases, design and write online media guides, contribute to social media and perform other projects and duties as assigned by the Associate AD/Athletic Communications. Strong writing and communications skills, along with a working knowledge of StatCrew, NCAA LiveStats, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and social media in a PC environment required. Experience with SIDEARM websites is helpful and familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations, is preferred. Prior experience of at least three years in a sports information/athletic media relations office is required. A bachelor’s degree is required. Candidate must be flexible to travel with assigned teams for competitions as required, including weekends and/or holidays.
