• Provides media relations support for the DME Academy teams, including writing press releases, media publications, social media posts and game recaps
• Acts as a liaison with local and national media
• Writes feature stories for publications
• Manage promotional events and opportunities 
• Update the DME Academy website  
• Generate social media posts to promote DME Academy programs and athletes 
• Compile team/player statistics
• Organize and generate features on student-athletes and DME Academy staff aiming to promote and market programming 
• Collaborate with DME Marketing team to advance programs, teams, and athletes at DME Academy 
• Foster creative new initiatives to market and promote DME Academy 

Bachelor’s in journalism, communications, sports marketing or a related field; minimum two years’ previous experience in athletics communications; strong verbal and written communication skills.
